Oast is a place where you can come for your everyday breads or that special weekend loaf. We are passionate about using sustainable and high quality ingredients to make delicious bakes. You’ll find sourdoughs, yeasted loaves, sweet buns and ryes, alongside our specials, which often include tasty heritage grains for something a little different in your breakfast routine.

Run by us, husband and wife team Will and Charlotte, Oast is the culmination of many years of training and experimentation. Everything we do is baked on site in Cliftonville, Margate … and we can’t wait for you to try it all!

After growing up in Kent and meeting in high school in Canterbury, we moved to Edinburgh where Will enjoyed the privilege of training and working at some of the cities best known (and loved) artisan bakeries. After 6 years in the city, we returned to Kent where Will continued to bake in a sourdough bakery.
